On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Yang Di-Pertua of Adat Istiadat Negara announced the engagement of Prince Abdul Mateen and Dayang Anisha Rosnah binti Adam. Prince Abdul Mateen is the fourth son and tenth child of the Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, Yang di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. The royal wedding celebrations are set to begin next year on January 7, 2024 and last until January 16, 2024.
